Bananna Pudding.....Something?

Call it what you want to but this can be a dessert favorite for adults and kids! This is a dessert Scott's mom would make him when he was a kid. You may even be familiar with it or thought hey these ingredients go great together and have made a similar dish! Its fun and simple to make, you can even make it a dessert project with your kids!

Ingredients:

2 packages of Vanilla Instant pudding
1 box of vanilla wafers (yes you will use the whole box)
1 Bunch of bananas (about 4 bananas maybe five if they are small bananas)
4 cups of milk

In a large bowl mix the instant pudding with the 4 cups of milk( you can give this job to a kid, and give him a wisk to get it started, but parents finish it up to make sure there are no lumps!

Once the pudding is mixed set in fridge for at least five minutes to let it chill and thicken.

In the meantime, take a large bowl, or you can even do it in a rectangular loaf pan and line the bottom of the pan with the vanilla wafers. This can be fun for kids to do also. Next cut banana slices and lay over the vanilla wafers like the picture below:

Next layer the pudding on top of the bananas. Not too much, it has to last several layers. Maybe a half an inch thick or less. Then repeat the process.

The very last layer should be vanilla wafers and if you have enough wafers left over, crush some up and add to the middle of the dish and make a pretty design with the last layer of wafers.

*Do not add bananas to the last layer as they tend to brown easily after several days and the dish doesn't look to great. The bananas in the middle of the dish will stay looking and tasting wonderful.

Enjoy!! See how simple that is? So easy to make!

P.S. And don't use banana flavored pudding...it tends to be too banana-y, unless you really love bananas.
